The Bead Soup Blog Party

Hi All! If you have come by here earlier I'm sorry! I did not get inspired until Wednesday (YES! three days ago Wednesday). I knew when Cryss sent me the soup for this party that the focal would become a bracelet but beyond that I did not have a clue.

The bracelet is a crazy wire wrapped concoction. I wanted to use a bit of everything that was sent. This was so fun! If you would like to know more about Cryss Thain (my partner) just click on her name and to visit her blog click here.

This morning while en route to a job fair (see pic to the right) I was still wire wrapping the bracelet. Job Fair for Quicken Loans in Downtown Detroit. We waited for 3 hours to be turned away because time ran out. They did get two copies of my resume!

Anyway on to the Party...

The pic is the soup I received (to the left) and the soup I gave on the right. I loved this soup and Cryss sent me PINK...lol! And hearts loved it! 3 snaps in a Z! (In Living Colour)

And for a complete list of all those participating in the bead soup blog party (YOU got it) here.

Super bracelet. Sorry about the disappointing Jobs Fair. The right time will come -- it took me a year. We’re all being pushed outside our comfort zones — with amazing results!

Enjoy the hop,

I love this, great wirewrapping and such a vibrant happy piece! Have you ever seen any beadwork done by the Huichol indians? The focal sort of reminds me of that. Wonderful job!

Your bracelet has me intrigued because I'm not familiar with wire wrapping like that. What a cool idea! I also really enjoyed reading the interviews that you and your partner did. What a great way to learn more about each other!

What a cool idea to crazy wire wrap the focal into a bracelet - it sits really well. Love the way you emphasized the colours in the focal by surrounding it with beads. And that little bit of green wire that you can see really makes the whole piece pop! Gorgeous!

That's a lovely bracelet!
And i have been inspired by your resolution of making 1.5 earrings a day! I have been totally flat since my summer holidays, and i need to get cracking for the coming holidays!
